Founded by Keerthivasan A and Uma Magheswari, our story began during a very personal moment: pregnancy. When Uma was expecting, we struggled to find soft, comfortable clothing that truly supported her changing body — let alone anything that felt expressive, stylish, or special. That small gap sparked a big idea: what if we created meaningful, memorable products for every chapter of parenthood?

Today, The Parent Label exists to do just that.

We design clothing, accessories, and keepsakes that celebrate milestones — from the first bump to the first birthday and beyond. Every product is created with care to reflect not just a stage, but a story.

Built by Parents, Grown with Our Child

We’re not just creators — we’re parents too. Our 2.5-year-old son is growing fast, and so is this brand. As he learns, we learn. As he grows, we grow. Everything we create is rooted in real-life experiences, emotional moments, and a desire to connect with other parents walking this beautifully chaotic path.

While JK Merchiverse remains our parent company, you’ll notice products branded under either name as we transition fully. Wherever the label says “JK” or “Parent,” know that the heart behind it is the same.
